Maternity portraits are best captured between 32 and 36 weeks of your pregnancy. We want to make
sure your belly is nice and round and full. Chandra Lee’s personal preference is to capture maternity
portraits between 32 and 34 weeks of your pregnancy as babies have been known to arrive 3 or 4
weeks early and we don’t want to miss your maternity photography session. Chandra Lee has
photographed over 500 newborn babies and from personal experience while carrying her daughter
and photographing pregnant moms-to-be, swelling occurs the closer we become to our due date
and most women are generally more uncomfortable during this time.
The time we spend together lasts about one and one half hours allowing time for 3-4 outfit changes.
This allows time for you to get acquainted with Chandra Lee and feel comfortable during your
maternity portrait session. Chandra Lee likes to spend quality time with each client to make sure
your experience is positive. At the start of each session, we will go through each clothing item
together and decide what will make you look your best for your maternity photography session. We
capture a variety of images on a white background, black background and silhouette images. Other
background options are available if you have a special request. Your partner is included in your
maternity portrait session with the majority of the images taken to enhance and compliment your
pregnant figure.
We are also happy to incorporate special items you may have for your baby such as baby booties, a
teddy bear, ultrasound picture or any other ideas you may have.

Blemishes, minor stretch marks, scratches and bruises are not cause for concern. All of your images
are retouched and these imperfections are easy to fix.
Most clients choose to purchase the digital files from their maternity photo session. We also
have a large line of specialty items including designer albums, gift prints, fine art mounted prints,
gallery wrapped canvas and wall art collages.
