I’m proud to announce that I just received my third accreditation from the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC), an 
organization that seeks to set and maintain high national standards for photographic imaging.
This new accreditation in maternity portraits is an exciting milestone for me as a photographer. It’s not only a vote of confidence in my abilities as a photographer from the Board of Examiners at the PPOC, but it’s yet another guarantee for clients that I am a professional who strives to provide only the best possible experience and end results for everyone who visits my studio.
Committed to Improving My Skills
I feel very strongly about continuing my learning and perfecting my skills, not just for maternity photography but also newborn, infant and child photography. It’s because I’m 
committed to perfecting my craft that I submitted a selection of maternity portraits to the PPOC, some of which you can see here, in this post. As I mentioned, this is my third accreditation; I’ve also received national accreditations for newborn portraiture and infant and child portraiture.
Once submitted, my collection of maternity photography images were judged by a review board who considered criteria such as creativity, style, composition and impact. According to the PPOC, accreditations are awarded when photographers demonstrate that they are “capable of delivering above average quality photography in a chosen category.”
What does this new accreditation in maternity photography mean for you, my client?
Above all else, this accreditation in maternity photography gives my work greater credibility. When women choose me for maternity photography in Toronto, they can rest assured that their portraits will be taken in a safe and comfortable environment by a photographer who values professionalism and works according to a code of ethics. It also means that after your session you will receive maternity portraits that are high-quality keepsakes you’re proud to own.
