If you are expecting over the holidays, you’re most likely looking for a pretty maternity dress to wear to the office party or meet-up with friends and family.
My due date was January 12th, 2008. I gained 47 pounds while expecting my daughter Madison. Cravings for cream soda and McDonalds were abundant throughout my pregnancy. My daughter arrived 5 days early and was 8 pounds 11.5 ounces.
December came and it was time for the holiday Christmas party with the Metro Toronto Police. I still wanted to look pretty and find something nice to wear. After a lot of searching, I found a dress I loved at Thyme Maternity. It was a beautiful red dress that showed off my beautiful pregnant belly. When the time for the party came, I went to my favourite salon and had my hair and makeup done. Foolishly, I wore my favourite black strappy high healed shoes from Town Shoes. My feet quickly swelled up during dancing.
There seems to be a lot more options now for beautiful clothing pieces for expectant mothers. I did some on-line shopping and found the following dresses that I thought were pretty for pregnant bellies!
It seems lately, I am loving the clothing choices for maternity wear at Isabella Oliver, Top Shop, Ella Bella and Luna Maternity.
