Farrah’s Recent Outdoor Maternity Photography: Toronto Offers Incredible Backdrops for Stunning Maternity Portraits

I’m so excited to share a little sneak peek of the gorgeous photos we captured at Farrah’s recent pregnancy photo shoot in downtown Toronto. When it comes to maternity photography, Toronto has a plethora of interesting and beautiful backdrops for portraits, and I’m sure Farrah will be pleased with the images we captured that day.

Farrah has visited my studio for a pregnancy photo shoot before, nearly two years ago when she and her husband were awaiting the arrival of their first baby. She is definitely one of my most memorable maternity photography clients and it’s not difficult to see why–isn’t she stunning?! She’s a natural in front of the camera and her beauty just radiates in these images.

Customizing Your Pregnancy Photo Shoot to Suit Your Needs & Wishes

For this and Farrah’s previous pregnancy photo shoot, she and her husband asked that her belly be covered at all times. Most often, with maternity photography, Toronto women uncover their bellies so as to draw greater attention to what is undoubtedly a focal point of the images. But, for Farrah’s pregnancy photo shoot, the right clothing ensured that her beautifully round belly still played a very prominent part in the portraits.

Not every woman is comfortable bearing it all, so to speak, and some women wish not to reveal skin for cultural reasons. Whatever the case and their wishes, I am more than happy to work with them so that we can still capture what are quintessentially ‘maternity’ portraits. I don’t think the absence of skin had any impact, whatsoever, on the quality of the portraits shown here.

Amazing Backdrops for Outdoor Maternity Photography in Toronto

Despite the fact that Farrah only wore the one outfit during her pregnancy photo shoot, the various backdrops we used around the city allowed for an amazingly diverse collection of images. When it comes to outdoor maternity photography, Toronto has remarkable architecture, serene parks and even beautiful retail spaces that provide unique, stunning backdrops for portraits. On the day we did Farrah’s pregnancy photo shoot, there were people everywhere, and yet, we were able to make it appear as though this gorgeous momma-to-be was the only person there.
