Background Fade

My editing takes a long time. Sometimes longer than the photography session itself. When newborn babies are photographed they have a red skin tone. Sometimes they have a bit of jaundice and need some yellow removed from their skin. There are also often blemishes, diaper line or rash, scratches, lanugo, stork bites and many other things that are beyond a photographer’s control while photographing that need to be touched up during the editing process. The background fade is a wonderful new trend and here is how I accomplish the fade in my editing process.
