This was a very special newborn session for me as it was in my home town of Belleville, Ontario. This precious bundle of joy made my job so easy and he was super easy to pose and photograph at only 10 days old. He was still very sleepy and just slept and slept, letting me curl him up in so many different newborn poses. Congratulations “M” and “B” on the arrival of your beautiful baby boy! Here is your sneak peak!

This little diva was just short of 7 weeks old when I photographed her! I have to admit I was in shock at how many newborn poses we were able to get at this age. She fell asleep pretty easily and I was able to capture images from one backdrop to another! She sure is beautiful and I can’t wait to see what else we have from the session. There are so many images to choose from! It was so nice to meet you “L” and your sweet baby girl. Here is your sneak peak! Your gallery will be ready very soon!

This little darling was so easy to photograph even at 12 days old. So much so we were finished our newborn session in less than 2 hours. This beautiful family lived right beside a gorgeous park so we headed outside for some summer fun and pictures outside. It was the perfect time of day for outdoor family portraits and the light was beautiful! Here is your sneak peak “N” as promised. I hope you enjoy your images!

Newborns are best photographed in the first 10 days of life. It is best to book your newborn session while you are still expecting.

Oh, I am super excited!!! So much so that I had to share a picture. I just had a new shipment of photography props arrive and I am so excited to try the new items on my next teeny tiny models! I am totally a props girl when it comes to photographing newborns. You will NEVER see me placing your baby in a tea cup but what you will see is my fabulous collection of high end, custom made, one of a kind photography items that add flair and sophistication to your precious newborn portraits! This one is so tres chic! I just think it’s fabulous and can’t wait to use it for my next photography session!

I met this little sweetheart yesterday and he was just 5 days new! I love photographing newborns at this age because this is when you can best capture those sweet, scrunched up, curled up newborn poses. He did beautifully and we were able to get many sleeping baby poses. I had a wonderful time with this family and his mom and I talked a lot in between poses. It turns out we have a lot in common! I am thrilled to announce this sneak peak!!! These two little beauties have amazing parents! They were so easy going and laid back letting me snap whatever portraits I wanted of their beautiful little girls. I was so excited and waited for a long time for these little darlings to arrive as their mama contacted me many months ago to set up this photo shoot. One more editing session finished! Here are a few more of my favorites from this little guy’s session. I’m amazed by how different each newborn session is. Each little one has their very own way of curling up and believe it or not, I don’t pose the newborns too much. I like to let them settle in how they want to first and then I move their feet and arms around a bit. I find that works so much better than putting them into a pose. These images reflect how they are. I try to imagine that this is how your little one would have looked inside before he or she arrived and I hope I’m able to capture that with some of my images!
