This is what I live for! Capturing special candid moments of newborns in all their teeny tiny glory! I was so lucky …. again …. to photograph a wonderful family and their sweet little baby. This little guy was so laid back and relaxed, letting us try out many different poses. My heart really does melt for little precious newborns and I try very hard to capture every little detail before those details just pass in a blink of our eyes.
Mom’s often ask me questions about newborn sessions and what happens if their baby’s are fussy and we can’t get any good shots. Well, knock on wood, that hasn’t happened yet and I honestly don’t think it ever would. I’m not in a hurry to go anywhere and I always set aside two to three hours for a newborn session. I encourage moms to take lots of breaks and feed their babies and we just hang out and wait together until baby’s nice and relaxed. There’s always so many poses we can do while they’re fussy and they usually give in and tucker out in time to get some great curled up sleeping baby poses.
